Black waters
Hans Stoll
Black Waters could be defined as a visual architecture that deploys perceptions of place through the construction of austere, formally clean images. In the natural landscape, a genre that Stoll continually explores in the complex geography of Peru, his images flow functionally and naturally, synthesising a photographic image that articulates moments of contemplation. Aguas Negras leads us to interpret a view articulated from a space of critical and reflective thought on a territory whose fate is becoming increasingly uncertain.
